COVID-19 RESPONSE FUNDRAISER
This fundraiser was in response to the socioeconomic shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic and the urgent needs being felt by vulnerable communities across the country.
Our results:
- We raised E190,545 ($11,074) through individual donations.
- We assisted 246 families & 13 community kitchens.
- We distributed 100 seasonal grower packs to community gardens.
- We bought 512 cabbages, 1,024 butternuts and 1,536 tomatoes directly from local farmers.
DECEMBER 2020 TREE PLANTING
Through a collaboration with multiple stakeholders in the agriculture and city planning space, we kickstarted the rejuvenation of Mbabane’s green spaces. We selected Mbabane, eSwatini’s capital, for its economic and geopolitical role in the country. Through this project, we hope to re-introduce many of the country’s endemic flora back to the consciousness of the nation and its people.
